WICHITA TRIBAL ENTERPRISES AWARDED PACS CONTRACT BY INDIAN HEALTH SERVICE ALBUQUERQUE AREA OFFICE
Albuquerque, NM – August 2025 — Wichita Tribal Enterprises, LLC (WTE), a subsidiary of Quivera Enterprises and an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) owned by the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, has been awarded a contract by the Indian Health Service (IHS), Albuquerque Area Office, to implement a next-generation Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) across ten regional federal and tribal healthcare sites.
WTE and ZuluCare have partnered to deliver a PACS enterprise solution that will improve radiology workflows, enhance diagnostic access, and ensure high availability across geographically dispersed and bandwidth-constrained environments. This solution architecture blends local PACS capabilities with a secure, cloud-native archive that supports seamless image sharing, disaster recovery, and zero-footprint viewing, all fully compliant with DICOM and HL7 standards.
Together, WTE and ZuluCare bring trusted program management, deep familiarity with IHS infrastructure, and cutting-edge radiology technology designed for the unique needs of tribal healthcare.
